Uvalde had a school shooting with 376 Law Enforcements showed up (good guys with guns) and most of the killings happened after law enforcement showed up but felt they were no match with a kid with an AR 15 . 21 people killed 19 were children .
If this doesnt break the mentality , nothing ever will .....no magic number to bring people together . The logic is broken and too much money is involved .
I am no Trump fan. Never voted for him. But I do not struggle to understand why some people are Trumpites. You say in your profile that you are curious. I suggest you inquire into Trumpism, and the gun-rights issue, the same way you learn about Catalans—with an open mind.
I know populism is a common response to people feeling unheard.
They're looking for what they perceive to be strong leadership.
It's important to understand everyone's pain because if we don't diagnose and address the root cause, the symptoms will persist in one form or another.
We need to address everyone's suffering (in ways that are compassionate to everyone else too).
